Wants For Sale is an online art site with a terrific little twist.
All of the paintings offered on the site for sale on are of things that the artists want to buy. They paint only things that they either want or need. The purchase price of the painting is then set at the exact same amount as what the object costs. When each painting is sold, they buy the thing they wanted and then document it on their site. The paintings are quite whimsical and fun: "To Get Into The MoMa", "Drinks On Us", "Financial Security"
