Enabling Ecosystems

Marc Canter keeps the dialog going about the importance of creating companies that create opportunities for wealth for all of us. 

Marc says the new paradigm is about "enabling ecosystems".

I couldn't agree with him more.  That's why I love sites like Flickr and del.icio.us.  They enable ecosystems to be created and then allow for new creative work from all of us to enter those ecosystems.

I'm now convinced that Winer's point is one of the most astute comments about web2.0 companies that I've yet to read. Anywhere.
