New York In The Summer

For me, the best time of the year to be in New York is actually in the Summer.  There's a ton of things to do, and most of them are free.  The ritual of heading out with a bottle of wine in the early evening to fight for your three inches of grass to listen to a Summer concert in the park or watch an outdoor movie is as "New York" for me as the Empire State Building of the Statue of Liberty.  The video below, to promote HBO's Summer film series in Bryant Park captures the spirit of the experience to a tee.
